School Wide Positive Behaviour Support is a whole-school framework to meet the varied needs of our students and improve behaviour on the whole. At the core of SWPBS is the use of evidence and data to prevent and respond to problem behaviour. Research has shown that SWPBS is successful in improving school culture and increasing academic performance.
The four features of SWPBS are:
1. Supporting social competence and academic achievements
2. Supporting staff behaviour
3. Supporting decision makings
4. Supporting student behaviour
Warranwood PS is at the beginning of our SWPBS journey and we endeavour to have tier one established by the end of 2019. Some things we will do in order to implement Tier one are:
