Warranwood PS was built in 1996, as a replacement for the smaller school which was Warrandyte South PS. We love the building that was completed in July 2011 - this building houses our Senior School Learning Centre. All classrooms in the school are modern architecturally designed open spaces. Each classroom is airconditioned and has more than adequate space for teaching and of course learning. Classrooms in the main part of the school were re-carpeted in 2012, and the school was completely repainted, in late 2014 and early 2015, thanks to generous community fundraising.
The classrooms, with attached storerooms, computer rooms and teacher offices, are the envy of all teachers who visit. Our teachers, and students, are very fortunate to work in these facilities.
Outdoor spaces
Warranwood PS has spacious playground areas including netball and basketball courts, a large grassed oval, synthetic turf sports field, extensive shade areas, well maintained play equipment and landscaped gardens. These features provide opportunities for a variety of outdoor activities.
