Warranwood Primary School is proud to have an active and engaged parent community.

Friends of Warranwood (FOW) is our formal parent group, working in partnership with the school leadership team to enrich the daily life of our school community.

“As parents, we share a collaborative interest in making our school the best it can be. FOW coordinates a range of fundraising and community events throughout the year. Our fundraising efforts allow the school to invest in resources that directly benefit our children.”

 

Making a Difference

Through the dedication and generosity of our FOW community, recent fundraising efforts have contributed to:

• Courtyard redevelopment

• Playground upgrades

• Library upgrades and improvements

• Additional enhancements and resources across the school

These projects strengthen our learning environments and create welcoming, engaging spaces for students to learn, read and connect.

What Does FOW Do?

FOW coordinates a variety of fundraising and community-building events throughout the year. These events not only raise funds, but also create opportunities for families to connect and celebrate together.

When do we meet?

FOW meets once a month.

What if I want to help but can’t attend meetings?

There are many roles within FOW to suit different time commitments. Meetings can be attended both in person and online, and we also offer opportunities to contribute behind the scenes.

What if I’m new and don’t know much?

We value everyone’s contributions. Our members bring a wealth of experience and we have a supportive induction process for new members. FOW works collaboratively in teams when organising events, so you are never on your own.
