Our new Year 5/6 rope play equipment is a smash hit with our senior school students throughout the school day at recess and lunchtimes. Students are enjoying the challenge of climbing and manoeuvring up and down and around the rope configuration and in doing so are developing important strength and
conditioning, and importantly practising healthy and appropriate risk assessment decision making. The play equipment has instantly become a great spot to literally hang and talk together and build important social connections with peers at Warranwood.
The play equipment has also proven a hit with the wider community after hours with family groupings and past students taking advantage of the new local play attraction. This play equipment has been made possible through funding through a community grant allocation from Michael Sukkar and locally raised funds by our school community.
